Rep. Liz Pike calls surrogacy commercialization bill “disgusting” on KXL

Rep. Liz Pike, R-Camas, joins Lars Larson on KXL to discuss the so-called “Uniform Parentage Act” passed by Democrats late Tuesday allowing surrogate mothers to charge commercial fees for carrying and giving birth to children, which Pike says would “legalize the purchase and sale of human babies.” Pike also talks about the majority party’s opposition to a Republican proposal that would have placed armed resource officers in schools to protect children against violence.
